With the latest violent and oppressive act of the UK government to not include trans people in the protection from conversion therapy, I feel it is appropriate to showcase some of the wonderful services in the UK that do offer support & protection to our Trans & NB community.

56 Dean Street in Soho London is a sexual health service focusing on the needs of the LGBTQI+ community. They offer services dedicated to the trans & non binary community, including:
- Sexual heath screenings
- Liver Function Tests (monitoring impact of HRT)
- Hepatitis B testing & vaccination
- Cervical smears (for anyone over 25 with a cervix)
- Hormone injections (if prescribed by a UK registered doctor)
- Gender Identity counselling
- Drug & Alcohol counselling
- Housing advice from Stonewall
- Sexual assault, hate crime support & ongoing casework via Galop
- PREP HIV prevention medication
Rainbow Mind
Rainbow mind is a service aiming to tackle mental health issues for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. The services they offer are:
- 1-1 Counselling
- Radical self care course – online

Holistic wellbeing and health service for trans, non- binary & gender diverse people. The services offered include:
- Sexual health services and HIV testing
- PrEP available for Trans and Non-Binary people at our service on the NHS
- PEP – Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (Emergency HIV Medication)
- Hormone level tests
- Hormone injections (with ID and proof of prescription)
- Liver function tests (important for monitoring the impact of hormone therapy)
- Hepatitis B testing and vaccination
- Cervical smear testing (for anyone over 25 with a cervix)

Black Trans Foundation

Offers 4 months of free therapy to black trans people who are 16+ and live in the UK. All of their therapists are black, of mixed heritage or POC. The majority are from the LGBTQIA+ community with half of them being trans (including non-binary). All of their therapists have substantial experience of working with the trans community.
*Spectra & Back Trans Foundation collaborate to offer trans mentorship for younger black trans people.
