Gendered Intelligence Bristol Youth Group provides a monthly drop-in for 13-20 year olds who identify as trans, non-binary or questioning.
Freedom is OTR’s gender and sexuality social action project. They offer informative group sessions filled with workshops, games, socials, trips and creative activities.
Bristol Mind provides MindLine Trans+ which is a confidential, emotional, mental health support line for those who identify as transgender, agender, gender fluid or non-binary.
National Support
The Gender Identity Clinic (GIC) is the largest and oldest gender clinic in the UK, dating back to 1966. They accept referrals from all over the UK for adults with issues related to gender. They accept referrals for patients who are aged 17 years and older onto our waiting list. Patients will not be offered an appointment before their 18th birthday.
GenderGP provides advocacy, support, advice, healthcare and access to a range of complementary services, which enable trans people to live their lives more easily
Mermaids is passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve a happier life in the face of adversity. They work to raise awareness about gender non-conformity in children.
Galop offers emotional and practical support at a national level for LGBTQ+ people experiencing domestic abuse.
Gendered Intelligence is a national charity that aims to increase understanding of gender diversity. They work with the trans community and specialise in supporting young, trans people age 8-25.
Stonewall offer information and support for LGBTQ+ communities and their allies.
